Nice and cheap, just my style. Nicely. Done mate
Thanks@@MarkWerner-Gillum it was a handy little tool while I was building the cubman microcar
When drilling small holes , I've found it easier to drill a bigger hole first. For example , if u want a 5 mm hole, run a 7 mm drill through first. Decreases the amounts of swarf for the 5 mm drill , and they last longer.
That method would also help prevent misalignment if you have multiple holes to drill 😆
Awesome!
Absolutely loved this video, the dog😢 the build, everything 👍 subscribed.
@@user-ku5pm9ep3u thankyou. But why are you sad about the dog?

Happy 6th birthday!!!! Looking good. You were tossing that thin sheet of mdf around and I was like "DANG!!!" Then I realized it was the thin one. A 4x8 sheet of 3/4" is like 98 lbs. (1200mm x2400mm x19mm 44kg) Dang it, now I have had to do math. LOL!!! Looking forward to what is next!!
@@faroironandcustoms6577 thanks, the thin one was 10mm the thick one was 18mm but also 1200x3120 and had to get some help to move it 😉 Not sure what is coming next but I'm sure there will be nonsense involved

Your dog looks really worried about you
@@Kirbytherealgamer yeah he was always a bit of an old man and worrying about things
Do you think this would work with the metal channeling flipped so that it is sideways I want to build an arched mirror frame, and I am unsure how to bend the arch. I have extremely limited tools that I could go by a 50 pound weight from the thrift store. I’m just worried the over lapping edges will kink when it bends if it’s sideways.
@@amberfrazier575 if you are making it as a capping strip to go over the edge of the glass it should work fairly well it might close the gap a little but it should be easy enough to open again. Another option is to use a plywood that will fit tight inside the channel and make template slightly smaller than the mirror to allow for spring back of the bend (the ammout depends on the material you use and you need to experiment to work how much smaller). This type of bending works better if the handle goes down each side of the plywood and has a bolt joining them at the pivot point it saves you needing a second bearing making it even cheaper. Hope this helps
Great job! Have you watched any of Lazze's videos?
@@blakegaddis946 yeah he has some good tips and tricks
Nicely done! Do you have any other video of you using the beadroller?
@@blakegaddis946 one or two I think
Have you used your bead roller much? What do you think about it? Does it have a lot of flex with that deep of a troat?
It does have a bit of flex side to side but has plenty of clamping force so it works well but I have a cunning plan on how to make it better. Unfortunately it will require the entire machine to be stripped and re painted but I'll leave the details for an upcoming video
@juscozcustoms Thanks for the info. I'm looking at woodward fab's model that is the same as yours. I was afraid it would have a lot of flex and was leaning more toward their 24" model because of that reason. Do you have a video of you using yours?
@@blakegaddis946 yeah there is one or two videos I think. I had a go at making a floorpan test section for my classic mini in one video and that turned out well considering it had no pre stretch. That's the reason why I got the biggest bead roller so I could get a floorpan into it but I will be making a brace for it to shorten the throat to stiffen the machine when I do not need all the depth
@@juscozcustoms I also thought about a removable brace that could unbolt. What is the name of the video of you making the floor pan?
@@blakegaddis946 yeah a bolt on brace is the final step that I am planning on doing (should be the first because it is the simplest) but I am going to customize everything ruclips.net/video/u2zIPq4zVNc/видео.html is the floor pan video and ruclips.net/video/Ajdmb1FuVLE/видео.html is another that uses the bead roller to make some wheel tubs
Do you have a cap on the fill spot? You need pressure on the system for it to flow properly.
Yes there is a cap but it is only to keep the dust out of the system. I know that car radiators need pressure to work efficiently however the coolant in this is generally does not raise more than a few degrees above ambient temperature that is why i fill the radiator from the bottom so the water pushes all the air out the top so the radiator can cool it most efficiently before it gets dumped back into the tank
I had difficulty seeing details in the video. The main bending arm is square, what were the dimensions? The material being bent looks square, is it? Dimensions? If square, it appears the round weight and material being bent have the same height. Is this correct? Is the height of the weight relative to bent material important? How would you adjust to bending something of larger dimensions? The inside of the bend might have the characteristic longitudinal dimple I have seen in other videos, but they used some disc between two "weights" to make the dimple. Am I imagining the dimple?
33:20 I didn’t think she would even start, let alone move!
Toyota's are like that. Not all the time but generally add fuel and they keep going
Great way for to bend square tube
It works for me, it can be scaled up for 25mm but needs to be built a lot stronger and bolted down to something that won't move
how was the pizza
Delicious
When in doubt, read the instructions.
What about when it is second hand and has no instructions?
Crackmatoes 🍅 👍
I'll have to make some crackmato sauce out of them
This one has some great quotes in it. Good to see you back. Get some momentum and keep going!
Well I have a bit filmed and I have some videos I'm working on so hopefully I'll be back in to weekly content soon. What was your favourite quote?
Nice!!!! I was hoping you would get a video out soon. I'm thinking you have better petrol down there. If a car sits for 6 months here the ethanol will kill the fuel pump.
I guess it is. The fuel in the cubman is 12 months the white corolla would be closer to 2 years and the brumberty probably closer to 3. In Australia they have to label their fuel with the percentage of ethanol they have added so you know not to use it if your vehicle is not built to handle it
One of the best on simple, effective bender. Love your creativity.
Thanks, I appreciate this.
He built a 20 dollar bender 😱then he went on a bender with his 5 dollar kite 😢
Got a link to where to get it?
All the information is in the description if you read it there is a line that is a description that is used in every ad that you just need to copy and paste into whatever online shop works best for you.
Hey bud. Looking at pumps for my old miller Coolmate 1. How long did the fuel pump late with coolant? And if not what pump did you switch too
The pump didn't last long. Might have been better with straight coolant (not watered down) Or not buying the cheapest pump on ebay. I ended up re working the original piping with flanged ends and went back to the Davies Craig pump. There was a comment here about a water transfer pump that looked like it was worth trying but I haven't tryed that yet
Brilliant! Would this also work with round steel tubing? I want to build a motorcycle rear luggage rack. I’ll be using flux core welding. Is there any difference in ease of bending and welding for round vs square tubing? I’m a newbie to all of this, thanks so much for any guidance you can provide!
Great stuff I was wondering what the wall thickness is. 1.6mm or and it's 20x20 ? Great stuff
The material I was bending was 13x13 1.6 to build a half scale lotus 7 chassis. To bend larger material you will need a stronger handle on the bender
Just stumbled onto your Channel. Good stuff Mate, but... Where's the link for Club-X?
On I thought I had all the relevant information in the description 😂
No way you could do a 'bender' for $20. Drinks are way too expensive.
I guess you have never heard of passion pop AKA 2 buck chuck

Great video!!!!!
Whats the brand of that bender
It does not have a brand but if you read the description it has all the details of how to find them online. Just copy and paste the phrase into the search bar
I might be dum but dose the distance between the drilled holes in sq. Tube lever is it important ?
The simple way to work it out is to have the gap between the roller and the former twice the size of the material you are planning on bending. I was bending some 12.5mm so the gap is about 25mm before I put the material in. This gap helps the forming processes by letting the roller lead the steel into the former instead of the roller becoming part of the forming process which will cause damage to the outside of the workpiece and possibly break the roller. Hope this helps
I knew once I got an Aussie page it would actually have a solution 😂❤
😆 glad I could help
